Community Music School

The University of Georgia Community Music School (CMS) offers instruction to community members of all ages and levels of ability. Areas of instruction include piano, voice, strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion, music theory, music appreciation, and ensemble performance. The faculty are drawn from undergraduate and graduate students currently attending the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, as well as professional musicians from the community.

Hugh Hodgson School of Music faculty members provide master classes, observe instruction, and assist CMS faculty, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program.
