Middle School Band Festival

The UGA Middle School Band Festival provides a rewarding musical experience for advanced middle school band students, grades 6, 7 and 8. The festival features concerts performed by exceptional guest bands and master classes for students. The closing session features concerts presented by the Festival Honor Band and the six Festival Clinic Bands. Band assignment and seating are determined by audition. Selection of participants is based on the recommendation of middle school band directors. The concert is presented in Hodgson Hall, and is free and open to the public.
