Orff-Schulwerk Teacher Training Courses

Dates

Monday through Friday, June 22 - July 3, 2009.

Level 1

No previous Orff-Schulwerk training is required. Course content includes basic pedagogy, movement, orchestration, study of the pentatonic scale, and soprano recorder.

Level 2

Building upon many of the skills developed in Levell, content for this course includes more advanced pedgagical techniques and ostinato structures, arranging/composing using major and minor scales, exploration of mixed meter, movement, and study of the alto recorder. Completeion of Level 1 is required.
