Michael Robinson, Conductor, Assistant Director of Bands/Director of Athletic Bands
The Symphonic Band is made up of talented undergraduate music majors, music minors, and non-majors from across campus with experience playing woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. Membership is determined each semester by blind audition. The Symphonic Band focuses on the classic band repertoire and as well as exciting new music. The band record for C. Alan Publications and hosts the newly organized Undergraduate Conducting Apprentice Program. The Symphonic Band presents a year-long concert series at the Performing Arts Center.
