Gregg Gausline, Conductor, Associate Director of Bands
The Wind Symphony has performed throughout the Southeast, at regional conferences of the College Band Directors National Association, and at the annual Georgia Music Educators In-Service Conferences. Membership, determined by blind audition, includes undergraduate music majors, music minors, and gifted non-majors who are preparing for careers in performance, music education, or a life-long involvement with music. The Wind Symphony performs the finest standard and new repertoire for wind band and presents a series of concerts each season at the UGA Performing Arts Center. The Wind Symphony regularly features outstanding guest artists and performs collaborative concerts with Georgia High School Bands.
