Since its foundation in the mid-1920s, the Women's Glee Club has brought a wealth of choral music to the campus and the community. Open to all women at the University of Georgia, this non-auditioned ensemble is dedicated to the study and performance of treble-voice repertoire of all historical periods and styles. The Women's Glee Club has performed under the baton of BBC Philharmonic Orchestra Conductor/Composer James MacMillan during his residency at the University of Georgia, at the Georgia Music Educators Association In-Service Conferences, and at the American Choral Directors Association Southern Division Conference. In addition, the ensemble performs with other UGA choirs and instrumental ensembles throughout the year.
The Glee Club is under the direction of Bradley Naylor.
