2007 UGASO Audition Requirements
Auditions for the University of Georgia Symphony Orchestra are held the beginning of fall semester. Below you will find the audition time for each instrument. When you arrive on campus please confirm the location of your audition by looking at the UGASO bulletin boards located just outside of Edge Recital Hall and in the vestibule leading to the Orchestra Room. Please verify both the time and location of your audition as schedules can change.
Woodwind and brass players may obtain audition materials from your applied teacher. String players may download audition materials from this page beginning Tuesday, July 31.
The first concert will be the opening concert of the 2nd Thursday Concert Series, Thursday, September 13, 8:00 pm, admission. The program will be the Elgar Concerto for Violin and Prokofiev Symphony No. 5.
