UGA Bassoon Ensemble
The UGA Bassoon Choir, directed by William Davis, performs actively on and off campus. Consisting of bassoon majors and non-majors, the group has performed at conferences of the Georgia Music Educators Association, the Southeastern Composers League, and the International Double Reed Society. In addition to performing bassoon ensemble literature, the group's concerts often include musical arrangements by its own members.

Saxophone Ensemble
The Saxophone Ensembles consist of the UGA Saxophone Orchestra, four to six saxophone quartets, as well as various other chamber ensembles. The saxophone ensemble program provides an opportunity for every student to learn and perform chamber music of various styles at the highest musical levels. The Saxophone Orchestra is the largest of the saxophone ensembles, involving all of the students of the UGA Saxophone Studio. The instrumentation for the orchestra is soprano, alto, tenor, baritone and bass saxophones. This ensemble performs the best of both original and transcribed literature for the large ensemble. The numerous quartets perform concerts both on and off campus. The quartets perform the best of both original and transcribed literature for the saxophone quartet. They have also inspired several composers to write new original works for this genre.
