Concert: UGA Wind Ensemble - Death and Transfiguration

The UGA Wind Ensemble presents Death and Transfiguration, their latest concert, at 8:00 in Hodgson Hall on November 14.  The Hodgson school ensemble's performance features a cross section of introspective and exciting works for wind band, including Ticheli's American Elegy, Messiaen's And I Wait for the Resurrection of the Dead, William Schuman's, and a selection from Bernstein's On the Waterfront.  Tickets for the concert are $10, or $5 with UGA Student ID, and may be obtained via the Performing Arts Center's website at pac.uga.edu or 888-289-8497.
