Classrooms
| Eleven classrooms, located throughout the building, vary in size, seating from 40 to 60 people. All contain audio equipment for tape, CD, and vinyl media, and five are designated as "smart" classrooms. These contain a projection system, Internet access, and capabilities for VHS/DVD/laserdisc viewing. | ![]() |

Two special classrooms for music education are equipped with video cameras to record teaching demonstrations. These two classrooms are separated by an observation room with one-way glass to permit instructors to observe and record teaching/learning activities. Two seminar rooms accommodate small-group instruction, master's and doctoral orals, and administration of comprehensive examinations. |
