UGA School of Music

Practice Rooms

Located on every floor, fifty-three practice rooms, including two organ practice rooms, vary in size and are accoustically soundproof. Larger rooms contain grand pianos, some contain studio pianos, and others are designed for solo, wind, and string practice. The School of Music uses only Steinway pianos, and there are 114 situated throughout the building.
