The Third Annual UGA Bassoon Symposium

February 25, 2012

Basson Symposium

The UGA Bassoon Symposium is a one-day event consisting of masterclasses, faculty recitals, roundtable discussions with current UGA students, reed making sessions, and a full bassoon band rehearsal and recital.

This year we welcome Eric Stomberg of the University of Kansas and Interlochen Arts Academy and Summer Camp.

Miller Marketing will be in attendance with bassoons to try as well as reeds and accessories to purchase!

Bernd Moosmann will give a special presentation about bassoon manufacture and construction. Come find out how bassoons are made.

The cost for this year's event is $50, which includes participation in all events (including bassoon band!), a bassoon symposium t-shirt, and lunch.
We are still accepting applications! Please send in your materials and join us for a great event.
