Saturday, April 17 (9:00am – 4:00pm)

UGA Hugh Hodgson School of Music

Brought to you by student organization Team Burns at UGA (The Team Burns Charitable Foundation) for the American Cancer Society

If you’re a singer, or just interested in the music business, make sure to sign up. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from and network with music industry pros. In addition, all proceeds from SpringSing Weekend go to the American Cancer Society, so taking part means you’re giving back to CHARITY.

Attend over a dozen interactive seminars on a variety of topics, including: singing, arranging, vocal percussion, live/studio recording, solo/group auditions, management, electronic media/publicity, and much more! The full list of workshops can be found on the official SpringSing Weekend website at: www.SpringSing2010.com.

Workshops are taught for students of all skill levels by professional recording groups such as the “#1 Most Popular R&B Group on Youtube” Ahmir, five-time JPFolks-award winning a cappella group Duwende, pop-funk sensation Blue Jupiter, and several more! You’ll have the chance to network with students from University a cappella groups all across the South, including Georgia State U, Florida State U, James Madison U, and more.

Sign up for a Weekend Pass and get access to all SpringSing Weekend events, including full access to all of the following: 1) Friday night’s banquet dinner at the Classic Center, 2) the “Voices United for a Cure Benefit Concert” (the main event, featuring a Collegiate A Cappella Competition and Professional Showcase), 3) Saturday’s “A Cappella Workshops,” and 4) lunch on Saturday.

Registration for a Weekend Pass is $30. Registration for Saturday Workshops only is $20. To register, visit: www.SpringSing2010.com.
