Join us in celebrating women’s history month 2024 through the performance of works by women! This recital will include world premieres of new works by women for solo viola and viola and piano. This project is supported by the Willson Center for the Humanities and
Arts and the Nora Redman Fund of Louisville, Kentucky.

 

Maggie Snyder is Professor of Viola at the University of Georgia, Principal Violist of the Chamber Orchestra of New York, with whom she records for Naxos, and is on the Artist-Faculty of the Brevard Music Festival. Ms. Snyder made her Carnegie Hall debut in Weill Recital Hall with her sister duo, Allemagnetti, in 2009.
