This exquisite evening includes The Journey, suite for violin, viola and chamber orchestra by contemporary Russian composer Efrem Podgaits, dedicated to Levon Ambartsumian. It will also feature the cello concerto by contemporary Armenian composer Karen Khanagov with Oliver Yatsugafu, UGA alum as a guest conductor and UGA faculty James Kim, cello, as the soloist. Tickets go on sale Monday, July 21, 2025.
