HHSOM Ambassador

Lauren is a second-year Music Therapy and Psychology double-major from Atlanta, Georgia studying voice in the studio of Dr. Slovin. She is a member of several UGA choirs, the Music Therapy Student Association, and the Iota Zeta chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, where she served as Member-in-Training Class President. Outside of the School of Music, Lauren is a student of the Morehead Honors College and was a CURO Summer Research Fellow in 2025. She also runs with the Club Cross-Country and Track and Field teams, sings at the First Christian Church of Athens, and volunteers at the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia. She hopes to use her collegiate experiences to build a music therapy career centered around helping vulnerable populations. Lauren is excited to welcome you to the Hugh Hodgson School of Music!
