The Concert Band (MUSI 4837/6837) is a Spring Semester ensemble made up of UGA’s most talented non-music majors.
Known for its appearances at University of Georgia football games, the Redcoat Marching Band (MUSI 4835/6835) was founded 1905 as a section of the UGA Military Department.
Experienced undergraduate music majors, minors, and non-majors from across campus are all invited to participate in the University of Georgia Symphonic Band (MUSI 4838/6838), one of the Hugh Hodgson School of Music's large wind bands.

As one of the University of Georgia's large wind bands, the Wind Symphony (MUSI 4839/6839) has performed extensively throughout the Southeast, including concerts at regional conferences of the College Band Directors National Association and the annual Georgia Music Educators Association In-Service Conferences.
